I live at the pool in the summer. I have been a long-time lifeguard and recently began coaching. During the hourly break, my fellow lifeguards and I usually swim in the pool and go off the boards. This is Daniel. He was attempting to do a gainer, which consists of the diver jumping straight off the board and flipping backwards. I got this shot mid-flip, well sorta. Enjoy your Odd Shots Monday!
