Reflecting on Vince Lombardi

Lombardi Reflection

Went up to Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, to do a photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. This humongous statute of Vince Lombardi, the Packers' longtime, old-school coach, is a fan favorite. Couldn't resist snapping a shot of this pint-sized Packer-Backer. Oh, and the Pack won yesterday, smashing the Detroit Lions, 32-12. Go, Pack, Go!

Help is Just a Click Away...

Peninsula Debris

I shot this snap on a visit to see Miss Jo in San Francisco, but homelessness is a problem throughout this great country of ours.

Help us help those who can't help themselves...Miriam's Kitchen, and non-profits like it, provide vital services. Please click on the logo below to see what you can do to show your thanks during this holiday season...

Peeking Through the Green...

Peeking Through the Green

Packer Pearl

Packer Pearl

Meet Grandma Pearl. She's in her 80s, and still goes to Green Bay Packer Parties at my Uncle and Aunt's house every Sunday. A couple of weeks ago, my Uncle Lynn did a backyard tailgate, complete with grill, firepit and TV on the patio. Grandma Pearl did her hair up in pigtails, with green and gold ribbons. Go, Pack!

Trick or Treat, continued...

My original assignment, should I choose to accept it, was to take a family Halloween photo & interpret it in present time, recreating it using my own eye for detail and composition. I chose a photo from my third month of life, shot by my Mom on Halloween night, 1990. My Mom featured the original snap on her blog right before Halloween.

My subjects were Sophie (the baby) and Gabby. Here's how it all turned out. I'm really pleased with the results!
