Family Time
Anyone know of a Web site that features funny family photos? The one above might win...Seriously!
We're expecting a blizzard tomorrow, so wanted to share a reflection from a sunnier afternoon. It's fun to run down to the Tidal Basin-located between Mr. Jefferson & Mr. Washington-in DC on a random afternoon, to putz around in a paddle boat.
When Old Man Winter finally settles down for a nap, the kitties at our house like to set up shop by the heating vents. Here's Patchy, snuggled up next to the vent in the dining room. Looks like her right eye is reflecting the "Caribbean Blue" theme of the room, doesn't it?

I had shoulder surgery yesterday, so I'm recycling these shots. I included them in my senior year AP Photo portfolio. These droids have always been my favorites. They make their home these days at The Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History in DC.
I was at the Green Bay-Dallas game, and captured some good tooshies, 'cause I was behind the Packers' bench. Get it?
My contribution to the I *Heart* Faces We *Heart* Tooshies Contest...
Went up to Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, to do a photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. This humongous statute of Vince Lombardi, the Packers' longtime, old-school coach, is a fan favorite. Couldn't resist snapping a shot of this pint-sized Packer-Backer. Oh, and the Pack won yesterday, smashing the Detroit Lions, 32-12. Go, Pack, Go!
I shot this snap on a visit to see Miss Jo in San Francisco, but homelessness is a problem throughout this great country of ours.
