The Smithsonian's Star Wars Reflections

C3PO

I had shoulder surgery yesterday, so I'm recycling these shots. I included them in my senior year AP Photo portfolio. These droids have always been my favorites. They make their home these days at The Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History in DC.

Popped over from your mom's blog to say hope you are resting and feel better soon. While I was here I checked out your photo's and loved them. I am always enviousl of those with such talent, I missed out on the creative gene and I can't take a picture to save my life, thank God they put the little square thingy in my camera because before that I use to cut all the heads off, I mean it, I was known for that in the family, it was awful.
Anyways, get better!!!!

I have long contended that, in photography, less is more. Your two shots today go some way to supporting that view. They are lovely shots of some highly burnished droids.

I hope you recover from your shoulder surgery quickly and can heft both camera and tripod very soon.

All the best ...

So your shoulders a wreck and on the mend ay? Maybe when it's all done healing you'll have like super strength in it and your camera trigger finger will be of an insane speed! Hang in there, and in the meantime drink as many milkshakes as you want...it speeds up the healing process I've heard.

My best, Lynn
