Help is Just a Click Away...

Peninsula Debris

I shot this snap on a visit to see Miss Jo in San Francisco, but homelessness is a problem throughout this great country of ours.

Help us help those who can't help themselves...Miriam's Kitchen, and non-profits like it, provide vital services. Please click on the logo below to see what you can do to show your thanks during this holiday season...

That's a great idea. I'm British...one of the things I'm liking about all the Thanksgiving posts I'm reading is that a lot of people are thinking about charity and helping others. It's sweet.

Stopping by from SITS to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! What a beautiful post and reminder that we are to also serve and help others.

I wish people would help year-round and not just during the holiday season. Homelessness isn't just for Christmas.

I used to feed the homeless people in my downtown Vegas neighborhood. Every night I took a huge crockpot full of stew or chili on to my back porch and fed anybody who came. They received a bowl, a chunk of bread, and a bottle of juice. Not nearly enough, but better than nothing. They came not only at Christmas, but every single night, year-round.
